Charge 2 band coming off

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've had my Charge 2 for less than a year, when the hand band started to fall off. I got a new one. Now, less than a year down the road, the newer hand band is falling off too! I almost lost my fit bit due to this. I do not wear it in shower/bath/pool. Does anyone have same/similar experience? I don't want to buy new fit bit band every year.  Not acceptable for an exoensive little gadget.  I had another fit bit prior to this (on step down) and was experiencing issue with it. So I upgraded to this one, but am about to.give up on fitbit and multiple fruatrating experiences.

I am having the same problem. I have replaced the band twice on the H2 already, and several times on the previous model. I was told that they will only replace it once. The 2nd time I had to buy it when it was 50% off. I am surprised that they can’t make a model with non-detachable bands. Perhaps I would. It have this problem. Not all of us want to make a fashion statement and change them out often.

I have had the same problem with my Fitbit - the band was falling off and now won't stay attached at all.  I had the band replaced within the first year and now 6 months later it's the exact same problem.  I wonder now if it is the tracker itself where it just does not hold the band securely.

I was able to get a replacement band under warranty but I wish they had replaced the whole Fitbit the first time around.  It sounds like they will not replace a second band.  I'm sure I will have the same problem again in another few months.  Disappointing considering the cost.

Well, I have scotch taped mine for today. We could ask them for a replacement, and if this is the 2nd replacement they probably won’t. Or, we can crazy glue it.

There is a video on-line where this guy does glue it.
