Charge 2 band falls off

So I have the charge 2 and I love it. But in the recent weeks the one side of the band keeps falling off. It will unlatch in my shirt sleeve and just hang, or it will literally fall off my wrist. I can’t seem to figure out how to fix it.

Do I need a new band or is it a problem with the two metal pieces that latch together?

Any help is appreciated as it’s just getting super annoying.

This worked and my band made the snapping noise when connected to the Fitbit to let me know it’s locked into place.

i tried to pull it apart and it would not easily come apart.

Get new bands from someone online...get new watch that isn't fitbit.  Not much else once this happens.

the band will break in a short amount of time. Has nothing to to with the lock and snapping noise into place. Just a bad design...and they know it. and don't are. They figure you will buy another of their products.

You keep spending money on them...that is what they want...so why replace cheap band when you will spend more on a new one!

You get that the bands most of us are buying are from third party sellers, which doesn't in any way give Fitbit more money, right? In fact, it supports a third party company making better bands and keeps money out of Fitbit's pockets by letting us use our original watch longer without paying them for a new one.

Sorry, but what are you even talking about and why are people liking that post?

Not sure what you are talking about.

I have a Band on my Fitbit that was bought with it originally (not from a third party) and it has broken several times from the face of the watch. The metal glasp seems to have come apart. I was just trying to see if Fitbit would replace or repair. I finally superglued it but it came apart after several weeks.

I just bought another.

I was replying to MauiT, who is correct in that if we keep buying new straps and watches from Fitbit to replace broken ones they have no reason to ever fix these things.  But I was making the point that not everyone is doing that.  I have only bought 3rd party straps and have not bought a new Fitbit.  So not everyone is addressing this in the same way.

I have had this happen now to my third fitbit. I stupidly keep buying another fitbit, now I am done..l i cant believe how I have even tolerated this and not trued to get my money back. This time,i will try( being licked in alone definitely motivates me).

There is no fixing mine with the metal tab. What should I do.

That is totally true I think it’s a fault on the fitbit itself and I think well I hope they have addressed it with the newer ones. I have had three and the last two with the same problem, I bought numerous bands and they just fell. Fortunately mine was still under guarantee so I got a new one.

Good luck

What do we do about this problem

My charge 2 Fitbit falls off on one side. I have noticed that I am missing one of the metal clips that connects the tracker to the band.

If I purchase a new band, will this solve my problem?

Or do I need to send my tracker in, to be repaired.

In the last week One side of my One side of my charge2 band keeps falling off it’s the side with the notches in.The other side is perfectly firmly positioned. It’s annoying as this was a replacement for a previous model. I’m tempted to glue it in place

The band will keep falling off ... I lost my FItbit  ... even though I had used superglue to ensure it doesn’t come off... it’s the design issue and so will not be buying Fitbit anymore

I think FItbit has a duty to replace faulty design but they won’t...

My band has been falling off too.  I've looked at Alvaro's responses, tried them and the band just doesn't affix to the tracker.  I believe   a  piece of plastic is missing or has broken off.  I'm able to take off and one one side, so I understand pulling on the little metal bar, but it doesn't work for the broken one.  How do I go about ordering a new band?

Thank you!
