So I have the charge 2 and I love it. But in the recent weeks the one side of the band keeps falling off. It will unlatch in my shirt sleeve and just hang, or it will literally fall off my wrist. I can’t seem to figure out how to fix it.
Do I need a new band or is it a problem with the two metal pieces that latch together?
Any help is appreciated as it’s just getting super annoying.

My versa 2 has just began this nightmare .Thinking it must be a defective or worn pin, I ordered new ones. The problem persisted. Upon magnified exam of watch body. The bored holes where the strap pins mount into the watch body are plastic and have worn to the point that the pins cannot remain secured and just pop out. This occurred on my Alta Hr as well . Quality products seat pins in metal holes not plastic. Fitbit advises me watch is out of warranty and offer a 35 percent discount on new watch. Really Fitbit? This use of plastic on a moveable part and the west that would occur should have been anticipated by design team . Now my 250 dollar versa 2 like my Alta hr lie in a drawer waiting for the eventual clean out the desk day. I had refused to purchase anything by this company after the nonsense with my Alta HR. But a family member, to my chagrin. Opted to purchase it for me for Christmas . The first band failed after a few months. The new band held fine for quite some time and then began detaching at random. New pin did not resolve issue. Magnifying glass reveals wear groove in plastic molding on watch sides. I am sickened by this and will not purchase or endorse poor design in any instance. Fool me once, shame on you Fitbit, fool me twice........

This does not work at all. My wristband doesn't even click into place now. Neither of my bands will stay attached. totally worthless.

I'm having the same issue. Changed the strap, but it continues to pop off. I figure something is worn down, possibly where the strap clicks in. Very disappointed. I only bought it last year and they are not cheap.

Very disappointing. I will end up losing it, because I am sure it will pop off some day and I won't notice until too late.

The exact same thing happened to both of my previous Fitbit charger two. And now I can’t even get that side to latch to a new band!!! I wonder why this is happening and now I see I’m not the only one! Has anyone reached out to fit bit about this issue?

Didn’t work for me. It’s Almere like the metal on the Fitbit itself is out of line
