Charge 2 battery does not last more than 2 days

I'm confused. If the watch is charging to 100% but is not lasting more than a day or 2, how will cleaning the trackers contacts extend battery life? Clearly, if it's charging to 100%, the contacts are clean enough. Just not sure how these contacts extend battery life once the watch is charged. The charging every other day is (sadly) getting annoying.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Lizzette007. Thank you for your feedback regarding cleaning the contacts and Charge 2 battery life.

 

I understand how frustrating this could be. We recommend cleaning device's contacts when they are not charging at all. Please check help article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?
