Charge 2 battery, heart rate issue

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Last week my charge 2 heart rate monitor stopped working, the green lights don't come on. At the same time the battery life went down to 2 days max. The display is also very glitchy, it does not scroll smoothly and some times it will freeze and go blank.  I've had it between 1.5 to 2 years. I have restarted it with no change. Any ideas?

@NathanO, it's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not working as it should and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. For the battery issues try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves.

For the heart rate, turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device.

These steps should also help with the screen.

Let me know how it goes.

I saw that on another post and tried them first but it didn't work. I also noticed when using to button to scroll through the different screens it will delay going to the next or sometimes go blank and a few seconds later go back to the main screen.

New changes to my fitbit. The heart rate monitor is working now, the
battery life is still low, the screen is now frozen on the heart icon, and
it won't restart. I hook it up to the charger, plug it in, the unit
vibrates but the display doesn't change, and i hold the button but nothing
happens.
