Charge 2 battery won't hold a charge

I love my charge 2 and I’m lost without it. All was well until this morning. I charged it and next minute it was empty. Did it again and yes it emptied again quickly. However what I’ve noticed is that the two green buttons at the back are bright green. Never noticed that before. So bright I can’t look at them 

can anyone help?
