My fitbit Charge 2 is only about a year or two old. I need to check to see if it is still under warranty. Somehow I have cracked the crystal on it, but it is working fine otherwise. Has anyone else had this happen and can it be repaired?

Hi @CarrieP
These can't be repaired, only replaced.
Warranty information can be found here - click
Some people with the crack have mentioned getting a third party cover for the cracked area, which has worked for them. You might want to search and see if something might work for you.

Has anyone tried to use Credit Card extended warranty coverage to replace the cost of fitbit? Some cards offer this.

The crystal on my fitbit is scratched and needs to be replaced. Who does that?

Nobody. I’m just wearing mine until it goes kaput. Fitbit does not help.

The crystal is actually a soft acrylic plastic. You can try buffing it out using a mild abrasive. A little bit of toothpaste is a popular choice. Polywatch, available on Amazon, is well thought of but on the expensive side. I use Brasso to polish my watch crystals because I always have some around.
If these dont produce a satisfactory solution, take your fitbit to a watch repair shop and ask them to buff out the scratches. Tell them its acrylic plastic. They will use a dremel-type tool and polishing paste.

My Fitbit charge 2 screen is badly cracked but still works as well. I think I am outside of the warranty thought because its been 2 or 3 years. Wonder where to go to have a quality replacement of the screen. I love my Fitbit and don't want to change!
