Charge 2 call notifications shows same number for all calls

No matter what number is calling me it shows up a number that's not the one calling me.  It keeps showing up one specific number and it's not my cell phone number either.  What should I do? It doesn't do this on the text messages, they show up the correct name of who is texting me.

My notifications are messed up since the update.  My phone rings and the same persons name shows up each time no matter who calls.  What can I do?

Let me help you with your call notifications on your Charge 2. This is odd but you can try refreshing the link between your phone and your Charge 2 and setting the notifications again by doing the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

I have uninstalled the Fitbit app and reinstalled it, sync the Fitbit turned off my bluetooth and turned off my phone and back on turned back on the bluetooth and it is now showing a different phone number but it's still not showing the correct number that is calling me.

I agree! Uninstalled, reinstalled,resynced, reEVERYERYTHING! I have followed all step by step instructions via Fitbit and Android. Zero texts coming in. Phone calls are displayed as last person I called. So frustrated!

I agree, I have tried everything, even called Fitbit, they couldn't resolve it either, waiting for another tech to get back to me...will let you know if whatever he says works....totally frustrating

So! I changed my messages app FROM Google messages (blue icon) back TO my Android Messaging app (yellow) and texts are coming in just fine now!!!! I really didn't want to go back to messaging app, but until Google messages is fixed...

It is my incoming calls that are messes up. Was you calls messed up? Did
changing you message app fix the call issue?

Yes! Try switching text apps.  My phone calls were incorrect too.... They were displaying my most recent call, not the incoming call.
