Charge 2 can't connect to internet

Hi,

My fitbit keeps saying there is 'no internet connection', so have looked on here for advice.

First I've re-installed the app a few times, but that hasn't worked. Removed my charge 2 from the app and reconnected which worked for one sync. I've actually tried to do this again and now I can't reconnect my charge 2 as it's saying no internet!

Disconnected my Wi-Fi and Bluetooth but this hasn't worked either.

Could you please help?

I have a Samsung S7 phone

Thanks

Wasn't it your Fitbit app that said no Internet?

Your Charge 2 doesn't connect to the Internet.

Have you tried restarting the phone?

Do you have any VPN's running?

Hi,

I've restarted my phone, even re-installed the app and yet it's still saying no internet.

All my other apps are working, so it's definitely nothing to do with my internet connection

Thanks

Claire

My app has been saying the same thing no matter what I try. Been doing that since late last night. Definitely something wrong with either the Fitbit watch or with the app.

I was having issues today with Bluetooth not connecting my iPhone (5S) to my Charge 2. It couldn't find it for some reason. I found another message here which had this response:

"Got it working! Did a soft reboot. Plugged into charger and held the button for 10 count. Not sure if that’s what Tony suggested but it’s now working.
thanks"

I tried this and immediately my phone connected using Bluetooth with my Fitbit Charge 2. When I did a sync on the app, all of my data was there and I have no more issues connecting. First time I'm heard of a "Soft Reboot."

Thanks for all your replys, I have been on chat with fitbit. It is still not working on my desktop where I have always used it and prefer. I have downloaded the app to my phone and it works so it seems like it might be the app. They asked for a screenshot and when sent told me I had the old app on my computer, have uninstalled everything twice now as the app windows tells is the right one is still the same one. When I get my weekly email it goes to a different app so thinking this might be the new one. Over it at the moment and will persevere with my phone. It is not new and the battery not so good so will turn on Bluetooth and location when I want to sync it. Hope this might help someone
