There's a mention in the instructions (see link below) about setting your default text app. Have you done this?

Hi. I'm experiencing the same issue. I used to see the message and now I can't. Did you find the fix. Charger 2 & galaxy s7 user. Thanks

@Mbaird @Cee-Cee It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Sorry to hear that you aren't receiving notifications on your tracker. Did you try @SteveH's suggestions? This should help in most cases. Make sure your phone is compatible to sync. After this restart your phone and restart your tracker by doing the following:

Plug the charging cable to your computer or UL certified wall adapter.
Align the contacts of the tracker with the charging cable and plug it in making sure it snaps securely.
Your tracker should start charging.
Press the button for 10 to 12 seconds.
You should see your tracker's firmware version and you can now unplug your tracker.

Go to the bluetooth settings on your phone and remove all listed devices now go to the app and re-enable the notifications. Finally make sure that the tracker isn't in the Do Not Disturb mode by long pressing the button while seeing the time.

Let me know how it goes!

@SamJoM Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

@SamJoM please check your privacy settings on your phone and allow it to show the messages on the lock screen as these are the settings the Fitbit app uses. Also remove the tracker and any other device from the bluetooth settings as explained in my previous post.

@Cee-Cee did you try the suggestions on my previous post? Are you now able to get notifications but not the content of the message like @SamJoM describe or you don't get any messages at all?

Keep me posted!

@Brigiittexo It's nice to have you on board! Which phone do you have? Is it compatible? Have you check your privacy settings? Your phone should show text messages in the lock screen to be able to display then on your tracker.

@SamJoM glad I could help!

I look forward to your reply!

@Irishlou Welcome! It's great to see you around! Thank you for letting us know that the notifications were off and that this was affecting your tracker not displaying them. How it went after you re-enable them on your tracker? Are getting them again?

I look forward to your update!

I just upgraded my phone to an Iphone 11. I have a Charge 2 fitbit. I can receive calls on my fitbit but not text notifications. I have looked through all the trouble shooting tips from previous people and it still isn't working. Any other troubleshooting tips I may try?
