Charge 2 can't wear a wristband due to health conditions

I've owned many fitbit 1's over the last few years. I am I'm a breast cancer survivor with mild lymphedema in both arms. Can't wear anything on my wrists without causing swelling in my hands. Tried a Charge 2, wearing it very loosely but even that light stimulation causes irritation and swelling. Yes, i got a Zip when i was forced to.  Pretty expensive a pedometer. PLEASE BRING BACK FITBIT 1! or tell me a way to wear my Charge2. Can I just keep it in my pocket? Is there some kind of clip out there? If I remove the wrist band altogether will it still work? Can I tuck it into my underwear?  Make it into a large clunky pirate earring? Toe ring?  I'm not that concerned about heart rate. I can do that the old fashioned way, but I really miss the features of the 1.  jenn

You do have company missing the One.  The Charge 2 does not rely on the strap and should work the same without it, except possibly for getting heart rate.  It should work in your pocket. I've seen several mention tucking it into their bra.  Some people wear it around their ankle.  It generally takes a longer strap, which can be found on Amazon off-brand.  Note this is not officially recommended by Fitbit so results not guaranteed.  Also good idea to wear socks over it so it can't fall off and get lost.

Thanks. This is a help. There used to a saying in the 60's, "Everytime I
figure out where it's at, somebody moves it." Don't get me started on
vanishing headphone jacks and disappearing usb ports.

If you have the tracker where it is unable to read the heart rate then you will want to turn the tracker off.

You might find a USB holder that clips on the belt that the charge 2 might slip into.

@jenny517 Welcome! It's nice to have you on board! Sorry to hear that you can't wear your tracker around your wrist. Adding to @JohnnyRow and @Rich_Laue great suggestions if you decide to wear your tracker on your ankle you could try using a sport wristband to keep it secured if you don't wear ankle high socks. As already mentioned this isn't actually encouraged by Fitbit. What it is suggested is that you wear your tracker inside your pants pocket. You can remove the wristbands while you are at work and disable the heart rate sensor in the tracker's settings area.

Let me know how it goes!

I purchased these and wear them on the front of my bra, and the readings are very accurate.
