Charge 2 clock face too dim to read while outdoors

When outdoors and especially when it's sunny and while wearing sun glasses, I can't read the clock face unless I stand under a shade tree and take off my glasses.  This is extremely annoying.  Can something be done?

Unfortunately, no.  This is a major problem with the Charge 2 and many have complained about it.

@Angelzeus Welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community! Sorry to hear about your difficulties reading the Charge 2 display outside. As @SunsetRunner said there is nothing that can be done about this but you can vote for the idea about having the option to modify the brightness on the Charge 2 display. The more votes an idea gets the more likely the developers will try to implement it.

Let me know how it goes!

I agree that the clock face is too dim to read outdoors, I have a Charge 3. What if the designers inverted the colors.  Making the background white and the information in black letters.  Maybe that would help.

I also have a Fitbit Charge 2 and I have to put my hand over the display to block the sun so I can read what the watch is saying.
