For months now my Charge 2 (about a year old) has been recording high active minutes when I haven't been wearing it for hours.
I take it off when I am not exercising and a few hours later when i pick it up again it is reading my heart rate as 140 before I've put it on, and adding hundreds of active minutes and calories, as well as adding a few hours to my sleep section, but weekly exercise is unaffected.
I have rebooted my Fitbit and still having the issue. How can I do to stop this happening?

@sazzibee, welcome! It's good that the community is growing! Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your Charge 2 counting active minutes while not being worn and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. This may be due to the incorrect heart rate reading. I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it to Auto save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device.
Let me know how it goes.

This worked perfectly up until today where it is still counting active minutes when I am not wearing it. Today is the only time it has done this since switching heart rate to auto
