I woke up with 17,000 steps and almost 4,000 calories burned...tried reset, tried setting time zone again. Nothing is working and I haven't even had my fitbit a year 😣

Hello @L_sickles47, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! This normally happens when your Charge 2 doesn't reset itself at midnight. That could happen due to a timezone issue, so I'm glad that you already tried to set it again through your account. By doing that you'll avoid this from happening again. Now, if you don't want to have that extra data, you can log a driving activity so those extra steps will be deleted.
Hey @cms1260! How are you? If you are getting the same issue, try the instructions above. 😉
Keep me posted if you have further questions!

I have tried resetting it and it won't erase steps from yesterday. I will see if it resets tonight. I'm not sure why the "log a driving activity?" would work unless I can just subtract the 10000 steps from yesterday?

That's correct @cms1260 removing steps from yesterday wontwoaffect today. confusion came from no mention off the steps not resetingreat night .
Yes it has been noticed if the phone changes timezones a little before midnight. A sync at this time jumps over 12 o'clock and the steps fail to reset if it is noticed right away some have changed the timezone back, let the tracker cross midnight. Now the time can be safely changed

My charge 2 hasn’t reset at midnight for the past 2 nights, and I haven’t changed time zones. Any new advice?

@Mar02 It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!
@cms1260 @L_sickles47 @Mar02 thank you for you updates and sorry to hear that your steps didn't reset at midnight. It seems that the DST change could have affected the time on your device as @Rich_Laue explained. The general suggestion is that you restart your device and see if it resets back to 0 the following midnight.
Let me know how it goes.
