I tried all the restart recommendations. However, no luck. My Charge 2 is just over 2 years old and this is my second one . The first was a Surge and lasted a little over one year. The bands cracked and the device became useless. I did get 20% off the Charge 2 but I can now see it was not worth it.
I will be looking for a different brand for my next tracker. The life span of these products is poor and very disappointing.
Garmon or Apple may be good choices.

I have the same issue, had mine for two years. It went blank but I can still see everything in my app. I won't get the apple watch mainly because my co worker has one because she is a fitness and an apple product enthusiast but said her apple watch works mostly as a smart watch and doesn't always pick up on workouts, and almost never tracks her sleep.
I was thinking of just getting another charge 2 or a Garmin watch; too many complaints of the charge 3 stops syncing, and not counting steps which is the same reason why I won't get the Samsung watch either.

I can also see everything through the app. This is a tough decision for a replacement. I agree the apple watch may not be the best. I am looking at the Garmin Vivosport. A bit pricy but gets decent reviews. Best of luck with your search.
