Charge 2 display completely black

Hello. My charge 2 display is completely black.  It is fully charged and I already did a hard reset.  The green lights are still flashing, it vibrates and it syncs just fine to my phone- but absolutely no display.  Any one experience this know what I should do?

I’m having the same issue too. My Fitbit just went blank, I’m wondering if it’s because of the length of time that we have this device. Mine syncs just fine to my phone but not shows nothing in display. I hope there’s a solution to this problem.

Thank you for the update. That is a little good news. But is still seems
wrong that they are ignoring it.

Hang in there and good luck.

@Lady_Liberty @Godlove Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well!

@Stripypixe what did they tell you? Was your device within the warranty period

@Lady_Liberty  @Godlove  please restart your devices by following these instructions.

@Lkh921

Support does follow the guidelines listed in the warranty so if your device is outside the warranty period they won't be able to replace it. This is why they offer a discount to help customers in this situation. Still thank you for sharing your feedback.

@CuteDaddy3 the team does work on improving each Fitbit model so your feedback is appreciated.

Keep me posted

Great news! I happy for you. I’m awaiting a response from Fitbit. They sent information as to how to restart my Fitbit, didn’t work, so I’m waiting. Thanks

Mine went upside down & backwards as well! That was fun trying to read the screen. The reset made it work for about 2 hours, then blank screen. Screen died but everything else worked. Samsung got the best ratings from Consumer reports and the price is comparable. I'll look around.  Good luck!!

I discovered my Charge 2 display was completely black this morning.  I plugged it in to charge and when I came back it was fully charged.  Now it is completely black again.  My green buttons are not blinking.  Since there seems to be so many of us having the same issue, does FitBit have a solution?

Hello and good luck.

There solution is to sell you a new one at a slightly discounted price.

Not a very satisfying solution I’m sorry to say.

Hi Fitbit support reach out to me, they told me to restart my Fitbit, which didn’t work. They offered me a 25% discount on specific Fitbit’s. I have no choice but to take up their offer.(yikes). I’ll still end up spending. I hope the new one who hat I get works longer.

Would like to know if there is a solution to  this problem. My device did not track my sleep and now it's dead again.

Mine was about the same.  I got it December, 2017.  I guess it’s time to move on to something that’ll last.
