I have not been able to sync with my phone since 2/3/2018.
It stopped working and just refuses to sync again.
I have done the typical fitbit's lame excuse for support....the 6 Rs.
Restart, reboot, reset, reinstall, rinse and repeat 5 times...nothing.
Anyone got any tips and tricks to get this thing to sync?
My BT is working just fine with everything else.

Hey @Piggy, it is cool to see you around more often! Thanks for taking the time to make your Charge 2 sync. Since the issue persists, I'd like to ask you something, which phone model are you using to sync? Have you tried to use a computer? In the meantime, I'd like you to take a look at this article which has some other tips for all the compatible devices that you can use with your Charge 2.
Let me know how it goes!

I have been syncing with HTC 10 and 11 for the last year. It now just shows syncing, but nothing ever happens.
I have an old dongle from charge HR on the pc. It syncs from time to time, but obviously not when I'm traveling.

I hope you are doin' fine @Piggy! So previously you were able to sync with your HTC 10 and 11, right? I was checking out and I can tell you that these phone models aren't on the compatible devices list, but if you were able to sync, maybe it is because those phones are been tested. So, let me suggest you to try the following steps to make it sync with your Charge 2:
- Reboot the Bluetooth on your phone/s
- Reboot your phone/s
- Log out/log in to your Fitbit account
If you can sync with your computer, it confirms that the issue is with the HTC phones, thanks for trying that in the meantime.

Just so you know, I'm familiar with the restart, reboot, reset, reinstall, rinse and repeat. Since the result is never consistent, sometimes you just have to do the whole thing 5 times before it works.
Anyway, on the HTC 10 it finally worked on the 5th try. On the HTC 11, it was more than 5, but I finally got it after probably 3 collective hours. I'm not sure why I even bothered:-D It still isn't working on win 10 yet. I got lucky on the shield tablet. It only took 1 5Rs to get it to work.
After a month, it is still working with HTC 11 50% of the time...I'm not sure about HTC 10.
I had to do the same thing with 2 other charge 2s on pixel 2 and on galaxy S8.
I have moved on to the charge 3. And I also stopped helping the others with charge 2. It's just too much trouble. So far, there hasn't been any problem syncing charge 3 with HTC 11.
Since fitbit trackers are pretty much disposables, I'm content with the subscription model. I'm simply getting a new one each year. It's still cheaper than netflix.
