Hi. My Fitbit has frozen on the battery screen. How do I get it rebooted or something to make it work again?

First thing to try when a fitbit misbehaves is a restart using the following procedure:
https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186/
It does no harm and can sort out all sorts of issues. You might need to give it a few tries though as it's known to not always work.

I notice that once this sort of message is posted, the thread dies. My Charge HR stuck on the battery indicator a year ago. I rediscovered it in a drawer, charged it up & it's... still stuck on the battery indicator. No amount of button pressing seems to trigger a reset. I'm afraid mine is bricked 😞
