Charge 2 fully charged but not turning on

Just took my Charge 2 off the charging clip to put it on. When connected to the charger and snapped in place, it shows Fitbit logo then full battery. When I take it off the charger, I cannot get the screen to come back on and the green lights are off.

Tried resetting it on charger, but same problem happens once I take it off.

@Georgianne A warm welcome to our Community! Sorry to hear that your Charge 2 isn't working and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves.

Let me know how it goes.

I have the same issue currently with my fitbit charge 2. I charge it with a computer and reset it as soon as it is fully charged, I take it off and try the button and it changes the screens then I put on my wrist and I get nothing when I flip my wrist or tap the screen or push the button. I have tried everything. help!

miss wearing it, tried so many times frustrating.

I did those prior to posting, since I since that reply pasted to the majority of the posts here. That's what I meant when I said I tried resetting it on the charger.

Didn't work.

Hi there!
Unfortunately, no, they weren't able to help me. I received a discount code for a replacement product instead. I'm not interested in just throwing this one away and adding to the electronics waste.
Since the device is apparently out of warranty already anyway, I'm going to try replacing the battery myself.
