Charge 2 glass cracked in warm weather

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I  have seen problems with Fitbit products on the Internet. They are fairly common.

I was in Barcelona last week where the heat is high. People have reported the same problem that I have with the screen cracking because of the heat (see link bellow). Fitbit should acknowledge that there is a problem and take care of their clients in a proper way by replacing the defective glass in the heat. I would like a replacement. I really insist. I will report the problem on social media.

Let me help you with your damaged Charge 2 screen. For this type of issue please let our Support team know about it. I noticed that you already have a ticket with them so keep working with the team to find a solution.

Let me know how it goes.

I have had two watches replaced because of a defect in the wrist band. One watch was replaced free of charge and the other I had to pay.

With the current issue, the screen of my watch is split. With the many problems I have had in the past, I tried many times this week to have it replaced free of charge because of the short time involved (17 months) and the fact that many people have had their screens split because of hot weather.

Unfortunately, the problem is not resolved as I have to pay again to change watches with an equivalent new one.

Thank you.

I have a similar problem. I appreciated the post as I thought I had struck it on something even though I did not remember doing it. I contacted support and they gave me a discount to purchase a new newer unit. Fitbit should stand behind there products and repair or rep[ace when there is a known problem, even when out of warranty .

You are right. Fitbit should own up to its product and replace watches with issues
