Charge 2 green light permanently on

The green light on my Charge 2 is permanently on and the battery drains in a few hours. I have looked at the message board and followed some suggestions. I have changed heart rate to off, removed FitBit & re-added it and rebooted it but still the light is on.  I have tried the factory reset using the the documented method and USB cable cannot get it to work, the only difference I can see if the type of USB cable I am using, I have the plastic docker bracket style rather than a cable with pins at the top.

Any other suggestions as my FitBit is unusable at the moment?

the green lights on the underside of your Fitbit are the LEDs that read your heartrate. On your app, if you select your device (Charge 2) you will see that there is a setting for Heartrate. If you select this you can change the setting. If you choose 'on' the green lights will always flash.

Regards,

Will
