Mine too! It just synced with no problem, and after that permanent green lights from the HR monitor.
I plugged it it in to the charger and held the button down but nothing happened. It didn’t even vibrate or light up when it went on the charger. I can hit the button and nothing happens, hopefully it’s not dead!

I just got off the phone with customer service and was offered a 25% discount on a new Fitbit product. I told them to keep it...guess this is the shove outta the nest to look for an Apple Watch. I’ve had a Fitbit for a Looooooong time. Disappointed that it just died outta nowhere with 0 signs of problem leading up to it. Good luck to you...hopefully yours is under a year old so you can get it replaced.

@driu @freallo Welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community! Sorry to hear about your Charge 2's heart rate sensor lights not turning off. Please start by restarting your tracker by doing the following:
Plug the charging cable to your computer or UL certified wall adapter.
Align the contacts of the tracker with the charging cable and plug it in making sure it snaps securely.
Your tracker should start charging.
Press the button for 10 to 12 seconds.
You should see your tracker's firmware version and you can now unplug your tracker.
If the issue persist then go to the tracker's settings and turn off the heart rate, save and sync your tracker then turn it on or auto, save and sync again.
@freallo sorry to hear that Support wasn't able to replace your device. They follow the Fitbit warranty and if your device is outside the warranty period they won't be able to replace the device. Still they offer a discount as you could see and it is up to you if you wish to use it.
Let me know how it goes!

Unfortunately all the support was able to do for me was offer a discount on a new device since mine was past the 1 year warranty. Not sure why it happened at all as it was working, then I plugged it is as I always did to charge, then the green lights were on constantly and it died. Would not respond to anything, including hard resets or plugging into computer. I’ve been very happy with my Garmin Forerunner 35 for the last 6 months 🙂 Good Luck!

Having the exact same issue. Emerged after latest firmware update. None of the posted suggestions have resolved the problem. Not happy to hear that the resolution you were offered was to buy a new one at a discount. Mine is about 2 years old. Will keep you posted on offered solutions from Fitbit.

I realized my fitbit charge 2 lights were on all day everyday. After reading a few comments i checked my app for the Heart Rate and it was set to ON, i set it to AUTO and the lights went off. They come back on when i moved the watch. Hopes this works for you guys.

Have experienced exactly the same problem and all Fitbit suggest is the standard response of cleaning charger points. This appears to be a problem with poor battery life but Fitbit not interested.

6 months ago my Fitbit just totally off even the battery it’s full after charge and 2 days ago, I had the same problem like yours where the green light keep on flashing constantly and won’t off and made my battery gone quickly in 10 mins.
The solution I did for this problem;
1. Turn off your heart rate in setting.
2. Let the battery run out.
3. Get good clean with rubbing alcohol using cotton wool and cotton bud.
4. Give your Fitbit rest for 2 days (DO NOT charge it when you give rest for this period)
5. After 2 days rest, charge it probably.
I have my Fitbit charge 2 for 3 years now, the screen cracked but still working. Sometime we need rest when we are tired and I think our Fitbit too😂. Hope this help.

Thanks, but that is not the problem people are talking about. The heart rate green light stays on no matter which of the three settings you try - including off. Following the prevailing ‘solution’ only makes mine work for a minute. Then bright green light that drains the battery in 20 minutes on Orr off one’s wrist. Charge2 appears to have a flaw that eventually ruins it.
