Charge 2 heart rate zones.

Is there a way to set the minimum heart rate on a Charge 2? My mother has an ICD implanted, and it is set so that her heart rate cannot go any lower than 80bpm. Subsequently this makes the heart rate zones on her Charge 2 completely inaccurate. It's saying she is in the fat burn zone 13+ hours per day!

I don't think there is any way to set minimum heart rate. And, unlike newer models, I think the Charge 2 still uses Active Minutes and calculates heart rate zones based solely on % of max heart rate.

On the newer models, zones are calculated differently, using 'resting heart rate' which would probably be somewhat artificially set at 80 for your  mother also, possibly messing up zones too.  What you can do is create a custom heart rate zone with whatever limits you want, but not sure that would be any more help.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
