My charge 2 is 2 years old now.
It has worked relatively ok
The usual faults in algorithms etc as you read everywhere else.
Mine now spikes jeart rate now and then to 180 for 10-20 minutes.
I train everyday.
I use pulse oximeter to verify.
The Fitbit is incorrect.
This is either a defect in workmanship that has occurred or the algorithm has been modified.
I love the company answers.
Restart tightening swit CV h arms get your heart checked.
They know this is a fault on their end.
I know what 180 bpm feels.like as I do a max cardio run 2x a week. You know when it's that high
I hope Fitbit corrects this problem I stead of kicking can down road with same.bs answers

Hey @Joejones90210, it is great to see you around more often! Ok, let me see if I understood your concern, so your Charge 2 is suddenly tracking your heart rate at 180 BPM, right? If so, let me explain to you that this could happen because of a software glitch which could be fixed by restarting your Charge 2. However if you already tried that out and the issue persists, I would like to try to turn the heart monitor OFF/ON and then back to AUTO, and of course, sync it after every change. Then wear it for a few days and let me know how it goes!
I'll be around!

This has happened to me three times now as well. It always goes up to 184, a heart rate that is far too high for me (disabled, mostly bedbound, not having repeated heart attacks). It's very noticeable because it keeps going up to that specific number. Last time the incidents were close together, but it's just happened again yesterday. I'll do the restarting business again and hope for the best. I can't afford a new Fitbit.
