Starting yesterday, the battery seems to be loosing charge. I charge the fitbit overnight, wear it all day and by 8:00pm the battery is low. The screen goes off, but it seems like the green light in the back continues to flash/blink like it running all the time. Is there a setting I hit by mistake that makes the fitbit run all day?

All day sync is normal, might even be on by default. It would be in the app (assuming your device is paired with your phone app). Click on your device at the top and then it should be a toggle at the bottom of the page. If you are having internet connection issues or have an IP address that is getting rejected by Fitbit, all day sync can burn through your devices battery fast. Otherwise all day sync is normal and useful. If you turn it off for a day or two and manually sync for those days and your device doesn’t bur. Through the battery in a day then that might help you figure out if it is a device problem or a sync problem.

I have had a similar problem. Out of curiosity, do you have all day sync on and use a VPN?
I found that part of the syncing requires communication with Fitbit servers to finish. The Fitbit server rejects some VPN IP addresses. So my Fitbit was almost constantly failing completion of syncing and burning through the battery charge in the process.

Thank you very much for the type. I was trying to sync my fitbit to a WW app and it seems the app was trying to sync continuously. I went back to the app and took off the sync and my fitbit works fine now. The battery life is back to normal. Best of all I did not need to purchase another fitbit. Thanks again.

I am not clear on how to turn off all day sync. My fitbit is paired with my iPhone. What device are you saying to click on at the top that will toggle to the bottom of the page? The top of it where? What page?

How did you find that you were trying to sync your fitbit to a WW app? I can't figure out how to fix the problem - I'm having the same issue you had and don't know what's causing it or how to fix it.

I could not determine how to turn off the all day sync. Others in the chat said it was a default setting, so if go into fitbit settings you may be able to turn it off.

Regarding the WW app. I turned on the sync to fitbit when I was in the activity portion of the WW app. I went to the activity of the WW app and turned the sync feature off. Hope this helps.

Thanks for responding. I think I'll need to contact customer support. I've had to charge my Charge 2 every night for 4 nights now. I tried all the suggestions seen in other posts but nothing helps. I think I need an expert's help or a new Fitbit.
