My app has stopped recognising any activity. Last weekend everything was working fine then 2 days later my tracker is showing calories burnt after a class but on syncing to the app…no exercise registers. I have done all the recommended stuff…opening/closing/deleting apps and tracker and still nothing.
Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas/advice please?

The moderators said that the Fitbit team is aware of what happens. I don't know why the website discontinued the section for contacting the people in charge of it.

You can manually log an Activity in the Fitbit App and after taping Add on the Log Exercise screen you will still see 0 of 7 Exercise days this week!

Google Play has 4.34.1 dated Jan 8, 2025. Is that not the latest version?

@JuanFitbit I've updated the App and it is still not recognizing the activity I am tracking with my Charge 2 and is continuing to display "No data" under total time in heart rate zones despite the heart rate graph displaying heart rates in all zones during my most recent workouts. So, no improvement with the new version 4.34.1 on iPhone 12 iOS 18.1.1

@GinaP2 , Thank you for your reply and confirmation.
I'll pass the information to our team, so that they are aware that the update didn't help with the issue on iOS.
Just to confirm, after you installed the update, did you restart your phone (off/on)?
We appreciate your collaboration.
I'll update the thread as soon as we receive further info.

The app date is still not showing up for iPhone iOS 18.2.1

Hi- the update came through. I made sure iOS system was completely updated and restarted my phone. I would say this update made things worse. It’s not picking exercise when I turn my watch on. It is no longer auto picking up my run and it’s erasing the exercises I manually log.

Yes, I restarted the iPhone.

Doesnt work either.
I have it fully updated... ive restarded the Charge 2; reinstalled the app (latest version 4.34); logged out; reconnected; turned off and on the bluetooth and the cellphone itself... NOTHING works. Everything else syncs (calories, steps...heart rate) But the exercices we start (and finish) on the watch will not appear on the APP tracker... only manual inserted stuff.

The app still automatically tracks long walks. At one point when I did the running on the Wii Fit, it logged that exercise as aerobics.

Hello. I don't know if it helps anyone here or if my watch and phone app have had a complete fluke fix but I seem to have fixed it? Not sure if temporary.
I went to "connected devices" and clicked on "attach new" then picked my current watch type (Charge 2). It asked if I wanted to replace the current one and I said yes. Then followed the connection sequence as per usual. I thought nothing of it...until later when I did a workout and by habit clicked for my watch to track it. When I checked my app later, the exercise was tracked and logged. Hasn't disappeared yet either.
Not sure if that might help anyone else? Eoth a try maybe?
Thank you x

I tried and it still doesn't work for me. Hopefully the team will test the next release/update and let us know how to get it to work properly.

I will say...again...it is a complete fluke. Have no idea how it worked but your messages prompted me to check again. And it's broke again. Completed fluke for a day only.
I did an exercise yesterday that I tracked with watch and isn't showing on the app. I've tried to manually add it and it allowed and then disappeared within 30 seconds.
So I'm back to it not working for exercise. The only thing it is has fixed us the notifications of calls and texts I can now get. However, that may also fail today given the exercise situation again.
Cheers Google for taking over Fitbit and running it into the ground...
