Charge 2 no longer charging

My Charge 2 will no longer charge when attaching it to the charger cord. I've cleaned the contacts on my FitBit and the pins on the charger. Is there any way to tell if it's my charger that is bad or the FitBit is bad?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @ChandaJane. Thank you for letting us know that you've cleaned the contacts on your Fitbit and charger in order to charge your Charge 2.

If your battery stopped charging, try the solutions below:

  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Make sure you use the charging cable that came with your device, as most cables aren't compatible with other devices.

Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?

I feel like a total bone head right now. Turns out the USB part of my charger wasn't plugged all the way in. All is good, thank you!

Try and adjust the way the charger is on the FitBit. Mine wasn't charging but i just had to move the charger to the side and it fit, then it started charging.
