Charge 2 no longer registering heart rate, sleep and won’t sync with phone

Hi, I’m feeling lost without my Fitbit working correctly! My Fitbit will not sync with my phone. According to my Fitbit I have recorded 1,285 steps this morning yet my phone says I have 0. I have a fully charged Fitbit, yet my phone says it’s almost dead. It hasn’t registered my heart rate for at least a week now and has stopped measuring my sleep patterns completely since Saturday. I have tried deleting the app on my phone and restarting my Fitbit Charge but there doesn’t seem to be any change. Can you please help?

Let me help you with your Charge 2. If your device isn't syncing you won't see your sleep, battery status or steps there so lets make sure this isn't the main issue. You can try the following:

 

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find additional suggestions here.
