Charge 2 not connecting to iPhone 11

Hi 

my dad recently got a new iPhone 11 and his Fitbit charge 2 wouldn’t sync, after hours of googling I realized it wasn’t paired with the Bluetooth so I kept trying to pair it which wouldn’t work!! One of the forums said to remove it from the app and set it up so I removed it and now I can’t connect it back to the app!!!!! Please can someone help me with what to do…

Please check help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? Bluetooth should connect at the moment of setting up the device.
