Charge 2 not connecting to phone's bluetooth

I am trying to connect my charge 2 to my phone as my tablet device is no longer working. It keeps saying that I can't connect to my phone as it does not have Bluetooth le. How am I going to sync my tracker

@SunsetRunner Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Sorry to hear that your Charge 2 isn't connecting to your phone. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

I followed advice from Fitbit and nothing worked I am now trying to use FITBIT connect? Any help with that as it keeps stalling (at time of writing)

Fitbit has a Bluetooth issue. Finally talked to a supervisor who admitted that to me. My iPhone can not connect via Bluetooth to my replacement Charge 2. 

It is very disappointing. My Fitbit has been down for over a month. 

Support promises a fix soon? I am not hopeful.
