Charge 2 not connecting with phone

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I purchased the Charge 2, and it is not connecting.

I do get the four digit code to connect, but it would fail to connect each time.

I tried turning off the bluetooth icon, and back on-no go!

Then, I made sure other bluetooth items are disconnected-no go!

I reset the app ( close apps, refresh ) , and still no go!

So now, I just need any other solutions in trying to get my Charge 2 to connect, and paired up.

Thank you for reading!

I have the same problem. I just bought the Charge 2 and I can't get it to sync with the bluetooth on my iphone 7S.

I have turned phone on/off. Bluetooth on and off, but no go. Frustrated.

I just got it to work.  I had to verify my acct in  my email. Once I did that everything worked.

@Cynnachu @distyle Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Make sure you are using a compatible mobile device to setup and sync your tracker. After this restart your phone again and then restart your tracker by doing the following:

  • Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  • Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  • Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display. Your Charge 2 will begin charging.
  • Press and hold the button on your tracker for four seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
  • Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

Go to your phone's bluetooth area and remove devices listed there. Now to go the Fitbit app and retry the setup process.

@distyle glad to hear that your tracker is now working and thank you for posting what you did to solve the issue.

Let me know how it goes!

I realized my mistake was that I had not yet verified my Fitbit acct in an
email link they sent. Once I did that, my Fitbit synced right away.

I found out my problem was that I had not verified my account yet in an
email that Fitbit sent. Once I did this, and turned on my bluetooth again,
it worked.

Hi! My fitbit was connected and paired, and now my notifications are not coming through. The notifications are turned on (verified in app and on watch) and my Bluetooth is connected. Data appears to still be syncing, however not receiving call/text notifications on the watch.

suggestions?

Thank you!

So I found out, I had a faulty one. I bought a new one and works. Probably others need to replace it if not working doing all steps.
