I've just started wearing a fitbit charge 2 however despite doing an hour of exercise today (20 mins yoga, 20 mins hiit, 20 mins weight training) its only picked up 11 active minutes. My wrists are quite small so not sure if that's the problem as the band is a bit higher up my arm than maybe on other people. Thought it might be that some of the workout was a little lighter but surely it should have at least picked up all of the hiit?

@Soapiepops It's great to have you here! Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your Charge 2 not detecting your active minutes. Active minutes are granted for the most intense activity your tracker detects this won't equal the amount of time you do an exercise. For example if you go for a walk and do this for an hour but decide to actually jog or run for 20 minutes of that hour, your hour long activity will be detected but most likely will be awarded only 20 active minutes as these were the intense ones. You can read more about active minutes and how they are calculated here so you can compare it with your activity.
Let me know how it goes.
