Charge 2 not getting call or text notifications

For some reason my Fitbit Charge 2 is no longer displaying my phone calls or text messages. I'm getting no notifications. It's as though it's not connected to my phone any longer.  It was working fine up until a couple weeks ago. Is there some setting I need to check that I may have inadvertently changed either on my Fitbit or on my Iphone? Not sure if the IOS upgrade on my Iphone or the upgrade to my Fitbit affected this some how.

@Theboys4 .First thought is which phone do you have.. When asking for help with a phone problem it would be helpful to know what phone. 

Not knowing what steps have been tried. 

Have you held in the button on the charge 2 while viewing the clock or the notifications screen? 

Restarted the phone and tracker? 

Checked the notification settings in the fitbitFapp and the settings in the phones notification panel?

Have you checked the apps and notification permissions? 

BTW it is better to editi your post then adding new comments .

I checked the notifications on thebCharge 2 and it is on. I am getting the hourly notifications so that works.  Just not getting calls or text notifications.

@SusieAudie not knowing what type of phone. Have you checked the permissions. and have trustees the phone .

I have only had my Charge 2 for 48 hours and my caller ID and text notifications are not working. I have checked to make sure notifications are on, repaired with my phone and bluetooth and even made sure it was not on so not disturb. I am at a loss, is there something else I should try or just send it back. 😞  Thank you

Yes I do, I checked that first and it shows my fitbit as a paired device.
