Charge 2 not giving me accurate sleep, calories burned and activity

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have had my Charge HR2 for about 2 years now and within the last month or so it has not been working as accurately. Example: it stopped showing my sleep stages quite some time ago, the last couple of days it has not been accurate on my activity level, or my calories burned.

I have done a reset, made sure it's charged, etc...

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Hey @tracynoel, it is great to see new faces around! I'd like you to try the following to fix the inconveniences that you are experiencing with your Charge 2:

- In regards of the sleep stages.

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your tracker from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your tracker higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your tracker to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your tracker’s battery is critically low.

- In regards of calories burned. Please make sure that you have not changed your demographics, as height and weight.

- In regards of the activities, please tell me, are you using SmartTrack to track your exercise? Or are you using the exercise mode on the Charge 2 itself? Are your exercises not tracking at all or are they just not being tracked accurately? Give me more details so I can assist you better.

I'll be around!
