My charge 2 stopped recording BPM and sleep details on 26 May, no settings changed and nothing. In the last few days it's gone from holding charge for 4 to 5 days to a few hours - fully charged and restarted and hour ago and already below 75%. I've switched off virtually everything including HR now but it's still eating power. Have there been software updates recently that are flawed or is this end of life? Not had a single problem prior to this. Help greatly appreciated as am on a walking break with no watch as the Charge is next to dead, and not even a step counter for more than a couple of hours each day. Not happy.

Welcome to the Forums @ChrissiFi.
Thanks sharing all of those details and the steps that you have tried.
I will be moving this thread to the Charge 2 board as I think it is better suited for it.
After checking, I could see that you have been in touch with our support team about the battery situation. My recommendation in this case would be to continue working with them. I'm sure that they will be more than happy to help you find a solution.
In regards to the Heart Rate and sleep details, it could be happening because the Fitbit is not getting a HR reading because of debris stuck on the sensor. My recommendations in this case would be to clean the HR sensor and also tightening the strap. You can clean the HR sensor with a damp piece of cloth and then drying it. That will make sure that there aren't any dust particles causing the sensor to work incorrectly.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. Keep me posted on how it goes with the cleaning and our support team.
