Charge 2 not holding charge

Charge 2 not holding charge for anymore than 10 minutes. Will say it is 100% then shortly after the charge 2 is dead. I connect it to the charger and the fitbit logo appears. After 5 minutes the battery is at 100%. Can someone please help.

Same issue with my Charge - same day...  with mine the heart rate sensors were stuck on constant and it seemed to have drained the battery.  Tried charging and resetting it multiple times  - but the battery would go from 100% to 0% in less then an hour.  I spoke with support and they said it was a hardware issue - in other words, time to bury it.  😞

@Doco75  @1stBlackBelt   All rechargeable batteries. like those in a Fitbit, have a lifespan.  The Charge 2 was released about the same time as the Blaze and the Alta.  All three forums have posts about battery failures.  This should come as no surprise.

f you have't, please take a look at these tips:
Clean the charging contacts on the back of your tracker to ensure they stay bronze or gold in color. To do so: Use a toothpick or a toothbrush with rubbing alcohol.
Clean the pins on your charging cable.
