Charge 2 not receiving text/call notifications

For the last week or so my Charge 2 hasn't. When receiving text or call notifications. It syncs data just fine but no notifications. When I go into the app settings to change notifications, I just get a spinning wheel and the notifications screen won't open. I've tried restarting my charge 2, force quitting the app, tiring on and off my Bluetooth and restarting my iPhone several times but still not able to open notifications. Any suggestions?

Glad your back up.

BTW if your daughter was around, yes she might have been secretly reading your messages.

Lol omg I so hope not lol but to be fair I think she would have said as I've been getting so frustrated with it. It said it wasn't connected so surely she wasn't lol

On your Fitbit press the button until it says notifications. Does it say on or off? If off turn it on.

Tried the notification on, tried putting it on the charger and holding the reset button, also turned off the phone. Everything was working well until I charged it today. Help

Hi, I've turned on notifications on side of Fitbit  as I accidentally turned it off but my notifications still won't come through 😞

I have the same problem with notifications. It doesn't help that notifications are switch on on the fitbit. I just get the spinning wheel and that the sync failed. All other syncs work.

Thanks , it's annoying as it did work the first week. I've only had it two weeks and it's really helped motivate me... a small price to pay to get fit 🙂

In your phones settings, notification then Fitbit, you need to have "show on lock screen" turned on. Fixed my husbands this way.

Thank you, I already had that set up. Up to now I've managed to sort everything except for step reminder.

I have tried all advice but it still doesn't work. It worked perfectly with my iPhone 5. Since I changed to iPhone 7 it had not worked. Does the fitbit not support iPhone 7?

Mmm I wonder if that's it. Only used Fitbit on 7 so maybe that's the problem. If that's so they need to sort it. I've read more negative than positive. It's an amazing item so hopefully the issue will get sorted with an app upgrade maybe ???

It works just fine with my iPhone 7 Plus you just have to verify settings. Once I got that worked out I haven't had issues

Have you removed the charge 2 device from your iPhone 5. That was the issue with mine.

This is the only iPhone it's been connected to. It did work for a week then all notifications stopped. I've got them all back except for step reminder
