Hey @Smooth1101, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! Are you getting call and calendar notifications? Is the issue only with your text messages? If so, if you haven't, I suggest you to follow the troubleshooting in this help article: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone.

The problem @Cockylady72 is not with the tracker receiving but with the phone sending. To help we would need to at least know what OS runs on the phone.

Can you tell me the location of the nearest Apple store so I can go and buy an Apple Watch and replace this useless Charge2? At least it will resolve the constant connectivity issues with this **ahem**.

It sounds like your phones OS is out of date you should be able to upgrade the phone to Oreo, if not Android Pie.
When you phone is locked, do notifications show up on it's always on display?

Well that was brilliant! Just press-and-holding the Charge 2’s button down allowed me to see that the device’s notifications were off. Pressing it again turned them on. Didn’t see this listed in the manual. Thanks!

@Dave_L @Smooth1101 @Allimarie00 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! @Smooth1101 you mentioned that you don't get text messages. Try going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
@Dave_L @Allimarie00 happy to hear that you are getting your notifications again.
