Charge 2 not recharging

Does not charge at all . happened all at once . Attached the device when notified charge was low. It did not charge although the lighting bolt was displayed.  Now totally uncharged and does not charge when attached. Only shows lightning bolt  but no charge.2 weeks ago now totally useless
