My Charge2 is not recording my stairs.

Well I must say you are definitely creative with your explanation of adding floors! 

Riding in a car has NEVER added anything to my Fitbit! Even with the top down in my Buick! LOL!!  Frankly, I am thinking of getting another brand!

Top down may, try riding in a car with only one win do slightly open, the whoop sound you here is from changes in air pressure. 

Now if your suspension is stuff enough that steps get added while in the car, yes, stairs may be added. 

Please remember that if your tracker isn't counting steps, it won't be looking for stairs.
