I have my charge 2 set up to track any time I do more than 15 minutes of walking and my goal is 5 days a week. So I walk for 20 minutes and while it counts steps, it does not register the goal. Frustrating. Please help

@Redheadedfaith Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry to hear that your tracker isn't recording your walks. Your tracker detects activities based on the motion on your arm. For example when using the elliptical machine make sure you have the moving bars so your tracker detects the motion and record the activity itself, once an Elliptical activity is saved on your account it should show on the Recent Exercise area. If your heart rate is high but there isn't much motion (yoga, weight lifting, etc.) then these activities will be difficult to be detected by your tracker. Still you can manually log your activity so you have a record on your account or use the activity mode on the device itself.

This is a constant headache for me as well. I walk to work every day and 90% of the time my Charge 2 will automatically track, but every few months it just stops.
This time around I've tried everything mentioned on these forums to fix the problem: reset the tracker, reinstall the app, repair the tracker with my phone, deleted and reinstalled the app, etc.
Nothing is working. I'm walking 30 minutes to-and-from work every day and zilch logged on my weekly exercise. Beyond frustrating.

I’ve reset my charge 2 twice now & it’s still not recording my walk. Up to the 1st May it always recorded my walks Now it only records when it’s my walk as part of my workout

I don’t want to lose my data if I delete the app & put it back on will I lose my data?
