I walk at least 2 miles every day on my treadmill, but my Charge 2 doesn't record it. It records other things I do, shopping, walking the dog, whatever, but not the treadmill. Today my treadmill says I just walked 4,000 steps, but my Fitbit seems to think I've been napping, I've tried both looser and tighter wristbands, different walking speeds, holding my wrist at different angles, anything I can think of. My Fitbit doesn't like my treadmill, and my daily totals are off at least 4,000 steps every day.

Hi @KateLX if you're holding on the treadmill while walking, it won't always register those steps. It needs your hands to be moving. Have you tried putting the Fitbit in a pocket or inside your sock? Many have done that and found the steps were counted with more accuracy.

Thanks. I'll try that.
