Silly me, I forgot and left my Fitbit on the charger to long, now it doesn't work. Please tell me the best way to go about fixing this issue. Thank you.

I would contact customer service. I usually charge my fitbits for just an hour but have charged them overnight and have never had an issue with it not working after being on the charger for too long.

@Sparkle4Me @BobTheCat Welcome! It's good that the community is growing! @Sparkle4Me while leaving the tracker on the charging cable isn't recommended it shouldn't damage your tracker. You could try restarting the tracker by doing the following:
Plug the charging cable to your computer or UL certified wall adapter.
Align the contacts of the tracker with the charging cable and plug it in making sure it snaps securely.
Your tracker should start charging.
Press the button for 10 to 12 seconds.
You should see your tracker's firmware version and you can now unplug your tracker.
Also did you check if the display shows anything when you plug it? You may need to clean the contacts first with a toothpick or toothbrush and then use cotton with rubbing alcohol (clean the charger too).
If nothing works then you could try letting Support know about this just like @BobTheCat suggested.
Let me know how it goes!

Same exact thing happened to me! I accidentally left it charging for about 2 days. Let me know if you find any solutions! Might call customer service.
