Charge 2 not showing heart rate

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

According my Charge 2, I am dead.  On Monday while working out on the cross trainer at the gym, my Fitbit stopped giving a heart rate after about 10 minutes.  It eventually showed a heart rate again a couple of hours later.  Today it did the same thing, and now 4 hours later it isn’t still not showing a heart rate.  I have tried restarting it 3 times, to no avail.  I am an old guy but am definitely not dead and do in fact have a heart beat, despite what Fitbit says.  I would be grateful for any advice/help.

Same issue with my charge2. Just started two days ago

Apparently I flatlined during my hockey tryouts. Everything else seems to be functioning as normal.

Hi. Thanks for replying. Exactly like mine. Everything is working properly except the heart rate function. Since yesterday, I have tried restarting it 5 times, moved the watch up and down my wrist, moved it from one wrist to the other. Nothing works. The heart rate function is dead, which also means reduced sleep data. Not much use to me without the heart rate.

Is this a known problem or do I have to get a new watch?

I don’t know if it is a common problem. The heat rate function on my watch doesn’t work at all anymore, so I have given up on it, haven’t worn it for two days, am going to throw it out. I am trying to decide weather to get a Charge 3 or another brand completely.

Since my Charge 2 also stopped recognizing heart rate on Wednesday September 18th as well, I am going to assume this is a known problem. I raised a ticket with customer service yesterday as every single recommendation for troubleshooting failed. Unfortunately I can't recall if it is still under warranty.

Hi Tinalou. Thanks for your reply. I tried every suggestion for a possible fix too, and nothing worked. My watch is no longer under guarantee, but I would have expected it to last longer than this. Maybe I should hang on to my watch for a few more days. If other people are having this problem, perhaps they will come up with a fix?

Just wondering if you got any help from customer service.  I have stopped wearing my watch.
