Fitbit was giving notifications of emails and calls but has stopped working I have turned off the Fitbit. Did not fix the problem. Everything else is working. Please help !

A common cause of this is where the Charge 2 is accidentally put into "do not disturb" mode. This is turned on / off by pressing and holding the button on the Charge 2. Could this be the problem here?

I will assist you with your Charge 2 not showing notifications. Besides checking if the device is in the Do Not Disturb mode like @SteveH suggested you can you can try going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. You can find additional suggestions here.
