Charge 2 not showing steps on dashboard

I just updated Fitbit app on charge 2.  It is not showing steps taken since update.

Seems odd that your steps are not being displayed after updating the Fitbit app. To better assist you with this situation, can you please let me know which mobile device you're currently using? Are you experiencing syncing difficulties or the syncing process is completed without any inconvenience? When was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to do the following:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Reboot your mobile device.
  4. Make sure that the mobile device operating system is up to date.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Sync your tracker.

Thank you for your email. However, I did manage to resolve the problem. I
needed to reboot my phone.
