Charge 2 not syncing and heart rate not always detected

I have been having issues with my fitbit. It seems to not have been syncing since February also periodically doesn't register my heart rate.

Let me help you syncing your Charge 2 and its heart rate reading. Which phone are you using? Is it compatible?

 

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

Regarding the heart rate I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device.
