Charge 2 not syncing to Samsung A70

So I had a charge 2, it went kaput and I purchased another one thinking all would be fine. I have tried to pair the tracker to my phone, put in the 4 digit pin but then it just continually says connecting. A message pops up saying sorry this is taking longer than usual, please be patient. I have tried uninstalling the app, restarting my phone, turning bluetooth on and off but still no luck. In desperate need to get this working, getting withdrawal symptoms by the hour!

I have the same issue, charged my Charge 2 downloaded the app on my new Nokia 9 with Android 9. It says that same, trying to connect, please be patient.... Tried everything, nothing works.

So I just tried pairing it with my Huawei tablet and even that is still having issues. Sounds like it's a Fitbit app update rather than the device being used...yay!
