Why can't my fitbit charge2 be compatible with my Samsung Galaxy A30S? It is a Android 9 system which is suitable criteria for the fitbit app to work on the phone

@SamsungA30S Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not syncing with your phone. As you mentioned your phone doesn't show as compatible but that doesn’t mean it won’t work it just means that it hasn’t been tested by our team. You can try the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, since you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.

I'm having the same problem on my Huawei p20lite. I have done all these suggestions plus various others on live chat and still can't connect the two devices.
