Initially I was able to sync it regularly but three months ago my Charge 2 stopped syncing with the app or the phone.I tried all the fixes suggested by other threads dealing with syncing issues,syncing with Android 9 etc.I unpaired the device and started the pairing process again.The app is able to detect my Charge 2 to send the 4 digit code to enable pairing but after that it doesn't work and just says try again.

First, I appreciate your effort and patience for troubleshooting this situation prior to posting, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.
Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

I've checked the links you've hyperlinked and found no missing requirement and tried all the troubleshooting steps,but to no avail.The same thing as I mentioned above is happening
